The long-awaited first visit of the renowned violinist André Rieu Uruguay, initially scheduled for May last year, has been postponed due to the pandemic. Finally, the local producer AM announced that it will give two concerts: the October 8 and 9, 2022 at Antel Arena.
Between so much change and replacement, what happens with the tickets bought?
Those acquired on May 23, 2020, August 26, 2020 or October 10, 2021 -all rescheduling already agreed- remain valid and no changes need to be made. They will serve for the show on October 8.
Meanwhile, tickets dated August 27, 2020 or October 11, 2021, are valid, without making any changes, for the October 9 concert.
“On behalf of the entire AM Producciones team, we apologize to all those who made inquiries during the last days, since we have not been able to answer all of them. We have been working to confirm the new dates and make Andre Rieu’s arrival in Uruguay possible for the first time, ”says the official statement.
For those who exceptionally cannot attend and request a refund, a refund period will open from October 18 to October 31, 2021 only. The return can be processed by entering the website www.andrerieuuruguay.com, or by contacting Tickantel. Outside the term there will be no refund.
A few days ago, in a video broadcast on his official channel, the Dutch artist had anticipated that the dates in Uruguay would be rescheduled. “Because all the things that make our concerts unique are still forbidden,” Rieu said as a justification.
