The Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd band will finally visit our country in 2023.

Seven years after his last visit to our country, AC DC are preparing to announce a spectacular stadium tour around the world in the coming months. The tour, which in theory serves as support for the release of his latest studio album “Pwr Up”will arrive more than two years after the album was released due to ongoing delays and postponements resulting from the pandemic around the world.

The tour was originally planned for the year 2020, with many of the venues already reserved and different lines of work by live nation, who was to produce the concerts on a world scale. However, the arrival of the pandemic disrupted all plans, although the band released the album within the 2020 financial year as initially planned by Sony Music. However, the tour would be considered again for 2021 and 2022, although the uncertainty of the world situation and the enormous bottleneck generated by the tours of other artists made the group prefer to wait to carry out the group’s first tour with Phil Rudd since 2010 and with Brian Johnson since his inexplicable expulsion from the group in 2016.

Two dates in Spain

AC/DC would carry out a world tour that, however, would not be as extensive as on other occasions but would end up in Spain with one or two dates. It is speculated that the band may perform two dates at the stadium Metropolitan Civitas of Madrid at the beginning of June or even stop at the Olympic Stadium of Barcelona. If the announcement is made official, it would arrive in the fall of 2022 at the latest.

It will be the first AC/DC shows in our country since, in 2016, they made their last performance in the state of La Cartuja in Seville with Axl Rose as vocalist. But the AC/DC visits have been many more, as you can read in this report. We’ll see if Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd finally pull off the long-awaited world tour they’ve been planning for years.
