The first vice president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, accompanied by the Director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava castro, presented this morning in Baiona “Concerts at the end of the world”, a musical proposal that invites unique experiences in the Galician lighthouses. The cycle has the collaboration of the “La Caixa” Foundation within the framework of the Xacobeo program.
The piper Angel Lorenzo, las cantareiras Tanxugueiras, Dulce Pontes Y Mikel Erentxun participate in the poster that will have as a stage the lighthouses of Baiona, Muxía, Ribeira Y Cervo. Along with them will also perform the Galician DJ Russinha and emerging groups from the Galician music scene.
The concerts will be on August 21 and 27 and September 3 and 10, for small groups ranging from 100 to 250 people depending on the characteristics of the lighthouse and the level of occupation of this natural setting, taking into account the safety protocols and sanitary regulations. The proposal also pursues values of respect for the environment, equality and diversity.
The first vice president of the Xunta presented “Concertos na fin do mundo” in Baiona, where one of the musical proposals will be held that will take place at the Cabo Silleiro lighthouse., a strategic point of the Portuguese Way of the Coast and one of the Jacobean itineraries that is growing the most. In this stage the public will be able to enjoy Tanxugueiras and Pablo Lesuit. Alfonso Rueda recalled that the visitor and the pilgrim of today demand differentiated and unique offers of which Galicia has a lot to offer. The event was also attended by the presidents of the Port Authorities of Vigo, A Coruña and Ferrol.
