Willow will return to Disney + in style What a trailer pass!

Willow will return to Disney +, starring in her own series on November 30 and we get the first official trailer and it looks BRUTAL!

Disney+ and Lucasfilm have released new images and a poster to show us what awaits Warwick Davis’s Willow Ufgood and her new friends in the series that will premiere on November 30.

Written by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard, the film Willow from 1988 was destined to become a classic. Despite not becoming the box office success expected, these timeless characters became a mainstay among fans for almost 40 years.

Now, Disney+ and Lucasfilm return to the world of Willow, decades after young Nelwyn’s bravery and magic ended the evil reign of Queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh). Unfortunately, as fantasy fans know, a kingdom cannot remain peaceful for long before the dark tries to overthrow it.

You can watch the trailer below

In the images we see a shadowy figure moving through a thick fog, giving a very villainous impression. Although no specific threat has been mentioned in the trailers yet, it’s safe to assume this figure is the one causing all the chaos. We see Willow walk into a trap, much like the one she first met with Madmartigan (Val Kilmer) during the first movie. The footage also shows that Willow is now proficient in magic, as well as a couple of new faces to help her on her new journey, Dove (Ellie Bamber) and the thief known as Boorman (Amar Chadha-Patel).

about the series

The new Disney+ series finds Willow once again tasked with tracking down the source of evil and saving the kingdom from its alluring allure. Decades later, it is revealed that Elora Dannon, the young empress born to save the world from darkness, must be rediscovered. Saved and raised by Madmartigan and Sorsha in the 1988 film, we discover in the trailer that in order to protect her and the kingdom from her, her true identity was hidden, even from herself.

While on a mission to help a young woman, Kit (Ruby Cruz), find her brother kidnapped, they encounter a motley crew of people who must show their bravery and selflessness to do what must be done. Erin Kellyman as Young Knight Jade, Tony Revolori, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Dempsey Bryk, Ralph Ineson as Commander Ballantine, Talisa Garcia, and Christian Slater in an undisclosed role.

Willow will premiere on Disney+ on November 30, with a new chapter every Wednesday. If you are not yet subscribed to Disney + you can do it at this link.
