The idea of making this series was simple because it was based on the character of a 1983 movie, “Lone Wolf McQuade”, to develop a series of television movies. He contacted two heavyweights in the industry such as Albert S. Ruddy and Leslie Greif. They were in charge of the production and in command. Over time they also managed to add Christopher Canaan and Paul Haggis. Everything followed its traditional course, they looked for the writers and the new story became a total success under the name of Walker Texas Ranger.
