After his first experiences in the cinema, in 1956, Paquito Fernández’s career was internationalized because he participated in the Spanish film called “Veleta Curra” where he left good feelings and on his return to Mexico he was considered to star “Raquel’s Bolero”where he shared credits with Mario Moreno “Cantinflas”who was already more than consolidated as one of the greatest comic figures of the Golden Age of Cinema in Mexico.

It is estimated that in “El Bolero de Raquel”, Paquito Fernandez He would have been around seven years old and in said tape he played the role of “Chavita”who in the film was the son of Wild flower and the godson of Mario Moreno “Cantinflas””, with whom he lives all kinds of adventures. It is worth mentioning that his performance earned him an Ariel Award nomination in the category of Best Child Actor and although he did not manage to keep this distinction, it was a good incentive to continue with his prominent artistic career.

After his successful collaboration with “Cantinflas”, Paquito Fernandez had a guest appearance on “Thumb”a film that starred another emerging child star, Cesareo Quezadas and not satisfied with it, he also had the opportunity to appear in “He who sleeps with children” beside German Valdes “Tin Tan””, another great comic reference of the national cinema.

At the beginning of the 1960s, Paquito Fernández participated in a couple more films, however, suddenly disappeared from the art scene without being known about him for several decades, which has given rise to all kinds of rumors and speculations about him.

Until just a couple of years ago, different internet portals found the social networks of the former child starin which he identified himself as the actor who had given life to the character of “Chavita” in “El Bolero de Raquel”, however, he did not offer any interview to clarify what he dedicated himself to all these years, however, it has only been possible to see that he is already an elderly person who, in theory, should be around 70 years old.
