According to police sources quoted by the local newspaper new york postit had the goal of stealing $20,000.
The video, which went viral on social media in the last few hours, shows how a black Mercedes Benz chases to a silver Toyota and gives it several shocks until it manages to stop the latter.
It is there that a man gets out, hits the hood and steal a black backpack to the disoriented driver, who as if it were in “Fast and Furious”, could not flee despite his attempts.
In the images it is seen how the vehicles, at times, go in the opposite direction, in a notorious infraction, and after colliding withThey continue the chase along the sidewalkuntil the black Mercedes manages to paralyze the other vehicle.
As the man gets out of the Mercedes and taps on the window of the Toyota, a “he has a gun, he has a gun”from one of the witnesses with whom he films.
Earlier, someone is also heard yelling “Oh shit…” when he sees the cars resume their drive on the sidewalk.
According to the New York Police, the armed assailant managed to steal $20,000 from the Toyota. The event was in second avenueat the intersection with 91st Street, around 4:30 p.m.
The local media indicated that the armed robbersthey abandoned their vehicle a few blocks away of the incident and there were no injuries.
“The whereabouts or identity of the thieves is not yet known,” details the New York Post.
A local precedent
