A church classic
In the official synopsis of ‘The fourth passenger’:
“Julián (Alberto San Juan), a 50-year-old divorcee, resorts to a famous application to share his car with strangers and, especially, with someone who is not so stranger anymore: Lorena (Blanca Suárez), a young woman who travels to often to Madrid. For months she has had a fixed seat in her car and lately also in her heart. Julián wants to take advantage of the trip to be honest with her, but he makes a mistake when choosing the rest of the occupants (Ernesto Alterio and Rubén Cortada) includes a passenger (perhaps the most insufferable individual in the world) who will cause a radical change in the course of events”.
This road comedy stars Blanca Suarez (‘The summer we live’, ‘The bar’), Albert Saint John (‘Sentimental’, ‘The Other Side of the Bed’), Ernest Alterio (‘Perfect strangers’, ‘I leave whenever I want’) and Ruben Cortada (‘The Prince’, ‘What their eyes hid’), with a script by De la Iglesia himself and his inseparable Jorge Guerricaechevarría.
‘The fourth passenger’ is a production of Telecinco Cinema and Pokeepsie Films S.L. -again hand in hand after the critical and public success of ‘Perfect Strangers‘- along with Te Has Venido Arriba AIE, with the participation of Mediaset España, Movistar Plus+ and Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group. It will be released exclusively in theaters on October 28 by Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia SLU
