Two years after it was released in theaters in the United States, Two hearts (2 Hearts)the romantic drama starring jacob elordi (Euphoria), reached the Netflix catalog. Since its launch in the service streaming A few days ago, this feature film has become one of the most viewed titles in its catalogue.
The film was originally released days before the coronavirus pandemic caused all activities in the world, including the cinema, to close. For this reason, at the time few were the people who were able to enjoy it on the big screen. However, with its digital release, the popularity of this feature film has been increasing and today it leads the Top 10 most watched in various countries.

Two hearts follows two couples: college student Chris (Elordi) and his classmate, Sam (Tiera Skovbye), a Cuban exile Jorge (Adan Canto) and flight attendant Leslie (Radha Mitchell); whose parallel romances decades apart are connected by an unlikely twist of fate.
When doctors determine that 64-year-old Jorge has been misdiagnosed with cystic fibrosis and actually has a rare genetic condition called primary ciliary dyskinesia, he ends up receiving a transplant from Chris that saves his life.

“Two hearts” is an unlikely story, but true
It is based on the real life story Christopher Gregory, who helped save the lives of five people. He also explores the true story of Leslie and Jorge Bacardi, who had a special connection to Christopher. While the film may seem entirely fictional considering its unlikely premise, it takes its story from a book written by Chris’s father, Eric, titled All My Tomorrows: A Story of Tragedy, Transplant and Hope.
The real Chris tragically died of a brain aneurysm at age 19 and his organs were later donated to six different people. The film’s parallel story about Jorge is also true, as his only hope of survival was a double lung transplant. In 2008, Jorge received it from Chris and allowed him to live to the fullest. He was so moved by the fact that he created the Gabriel House of Care, a non-profit organization that supports those waiting for transplants.
