This is what the live-action of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’ would look like

Jujutsu Kaisen 0, directed by Sung-ho Park and released in theaters last March, has been a great success for anime at box offices around the world, so it would not be unreasonable to think of a live action. A Reddit user took on the task of showing what the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel would look like in that format, and the results were quite promising.

The film follows the protagonist Yuta Okkotsu, whose childhood best friend Rika was killed in an accident. However, Rika became a spirit that stayed with him. Said spirit does not appear as the girl Yuta once knew. Instead, she manifests as a monstrous and powerful entity that fiercely protects him.

Unable to control Rika’s violent behavior, Yuta can do nothing to stop the bloodshed that follows his brutal revenge. until master sorcerer Satoru Gojou offers to train him.

As well as Demon Slayer, Spirited Away, Your Name and Ponyo, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has positioned itself as one of the most successful anime films at the box office and andReddit user Bravo VFX shared a video showing just how terrifying Yuta Okkotsu and Rika could be in real life, something more than one would hope to see on the big screen.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 covers Yuta’s story from his early childhood days to becoming a student at the Jujutsu Academy, where he lives with his teacher Gojo and his classmates Panda, Maki, and Toge. The video, which is just under a minute long, shows Yuta facing off against a demon as he asks Rika to lend him her strength. At the end we can see her manifesting herself to help him.

While some of the anime fandom thinks it would be a great idea to adapt live action the movie, many others would rather they didn’t, since it has happened that this type of production turns out to be a total failure for critics, as Dragonball: Evolution or even, the last airbender.
