In 2019 it was announced that the title of Fantastic Four would eventually be part of the MCU on the big screen. Without a doubt, it was one of the most anticipated news by fans, who hoped to join the franchise. This after the disappointment of two previous adaptations.
As we remember (sadly), in 2005 there was a first attempt to feature Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm under the direction of Tim Story with Chris Evans in the cast. It had a sequel, but it didn’t go well. In 2017 there was a new attempt to revive the franchise with Josh Trank with Michael B. Jordan. It didn’t go well either.
It seems that the third time is the charm. What it is is thatthis movie of Fantastic Four It has progressed quite slowly. We have been waiting three years for a director to be announced, the cast that will star in the film, the start of production and the release date. Until now, we didn’t know anything, but Comic-Con 2022 served as a stage to reveal new details of the tape and Phase 6.
Fantastic Four and Phase 6
The biggest announcement regarding this movie, was the premiere date. Which is left for November 8, 2024; that means that it officially opens Phase 6 of the MCU. This is not a minor announcement, as it gave way to revealing the name of the saga.
As we remember, the saga of the first three phases was called the Infinity Saga. Well it turns out Phase 4, 5 and 6 will be named the multiverse sagaand will integrate the Fantastic Four tape plus two productions of the avengers. The announcements that were made remain with this order and these dates as of 2024:

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty – May 2, 2025
Avengers: Secret Wars – November 7, 2025
