Anthony and Joe Russo took over the ‘Avengers’ franchise after two very well received movies starring Captain America, ending a decade of stories with ‘Avengers: Endgame’getting one of highest grossing movies in history and giving us Thanos, one of best marvel villainsin all its glory.
The brothers walked away Marvel Studios ever since, focusing on his own studio and movies like ‘The invisible agent’the most expensive movie on NetflixY ‘Cherry’in which they continue to work with the UCM actors.
Whenever they have been asked if they would return to the franchise, the Russos have given vague answersbut in a lengthy new article about his independent study in VarietyJoe gave a more definitive answer.
“We won’t be ready to do anything with Marvel until the end of the decade.”said.
The duo also talked at length about how things are changing in the industry, from the rapid advancement of technology to how kids today don’t have the “same emotional connection” to watching movies at the theater.
Added Anthony, “Things are changing rapidly, which excites us. We’re futurists. We love new technology. We love the energy it brings to our process, the possibilities it creates to communicate with audiences.”
“Then we meet the market where it is at the moment. That has been our agenda from the beginning, and it has served us well.”

The Russos continue to work in a live-action remake of ‘Hercules’ that will be inspired by TikTok.
“There are questions about how it translates as a musical,” they said. “Today’s audience has been shaped by TikTok, right?”
