Various streaming platforms join the competition to give the public diverse content that ranges from series and movies of the drama and psychological horror genre to productions based on real events or dramas with touches of suspense, as is the case with the production that is already inside of the top 10 of the most viewed in Mexico and in the trends category, and which is titled “Hanna”.
Is film production which combines action, suspense and drama had its premiere in 2011 under the direction of Joe Wright, who is a famous British film director known for films such as “Pride and Prejudice” in 2005, “Atonement” in 2007, “Anna Karenina ” in 2012 and “Darkest Hour” in 2017.
What is “Hanna” about?
“Hanna” is a film that follows the story of a 16-year-old girl who lives with her father Erik Heller in northern Finland; Since she was two years old, she has been trained by her father to become a perfect assassin, but living far from civilization, she has never known culture or modern technology.
Hanna has various qualities, including that she is very cunning and has extensive encyclopedic knowledge and speaks several languages, but she has been told a series of lies about her life that will be uncovered over time.
Hanna’s life changes the day she tells her father that “she’s ready” and he gives her a box containing a transmitter which will alert the world to the presence of her daughter, but with the signals she sends they manage to locate her in a CIA security center where she discovers that her father is a former agent of that place who betrayed the agency and knows a strong secret that was never revealed.
A film of suspense and drama
Soon Hanna discovers that the CIA officer who tracked her down, named Marissa Wiegler, is the one in charge and designated to kill Erik, but what they don’t know is that Hanna’s father trained her to kill Marissa.
The movie with a duration of 111 minutes, it was produced by Focus Features with the distribution of Sony Picture Racing, with the main performances of Saoirse Ronan who participated in films such as “Ladybird” and “Little Women”, where with her young age she obtained four nominations in the awards Oscar; it also featured performances by Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett.
