His job in this new film is to stand out as a screenwriter, and to make the dialogues original and attention-grabbing.
The story introduces us to Hunter, played by Adrian Greensmith. A young man who is a fan of heavy metal and that he used music to take refuge from some difficult moments that he had to live in life: like his mother leaving home and the bad relationship he has with his father.
His best friend is Kevin, a character brought to life by Jaeden Martell. Unlike Hunter, this boy is more shy and does not feel much attraction to this musical genre. However, the two create a gang called SkullFucker.
When they find out that a battle of the bands is taking place at school, Hunter doesn’t hesitate to sign up his post-death metal group. To win, the two will have to rehearse for several hours, discover their passion for music, and find a bass player. But… nothing will be as easy as it seems.
In metal lords, Netflix sought to make a very special nod to fans of this musical genre. In this way, the film has many musical themes from groups such as Black Sabbath Y Metallica. There are also many cameos from very important figures.
