The Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences (AMACC) carried out this October 11 the delivery number 64 of the Ariel Awards. Through its official Twitter account, the filmmakers, directors and talents who won in various categories have already been announced.
Since its foundation in 1946, this recognition has contributed to positioning various productions as a symbol of cinematographic art in the country. This is the list of this year’s winners:
– Best film: night fire
– best direction: Alonzo Ruizpalacios a police movie
– Best actress: Monica del Carmen a police movie
– best Actor: Raul Briones a police movie
–Best animated short film: Uncle by Juan J. Medina
–Best Documentary Short Film: Flowers of the Plain by Mariana X. Rivera.
–Best Fiction Short Film: The longest dream I remember by Karl Lenin
–Best New Actor for Adrián Rossi for his performance in summer white
–Best Female Co-Acting to Mayra Batalla for her performance in Fire night. It should be noted that this film by Tatiana Huezo was crowned in this year’s Ariel Awards nominations and it is the production more recognitions obtained in the different categories.
–Best Male Co-Acting for Kristyan Ferrer for her performance in the black minutes

-In this edition, the award for best makeup It was shared by two productions: The exorcism of Carmen Fariasmade by Mari Paz Robles La Negra and Fire nightmade by Roberto Ortiz and Ana Flores.
–Best Art Design for the black minutesmade by Ivonne Fuentes Mendoza.
–Best Ibero-American Film a the good boss whose country of origin is Spain, directed by Fernando Leon de Aranoa.
