At last! After much waiting and anticipation, the Emmy awards return this 2022 to recognize the best of television. The truth is that we are excited, because over the last few months a lot of series and productions have arrived that blew our minds. And without a doubt, they deserve an award or whatever, because in all of them you can see that they put a lot of effort, work and dedication into it.
In 2021, The Crown, The Queen’s Gambit, Ted Lasso and I May Destroy You were some of the series that swept the ceremony (HERE you can see the list of winners). And of course this year we also have several productions in the categories that gave people something to talk about. So as expected, the fight to take each of the prizes will be extremely even on this occasion.
The Emmy Awards return in 2022 and we already have the list of nominees
This July 12, actors B Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Jasmine Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) met with the president and CEO of the Television Academy, Frank Scherma, to introduce the nominees for the 2022 Emmy Awards. And hold on, because we’ve got a ton of categories that are sure to fight hard for the statuette (and we don’t want to be the people who pick the winners).
On this occasion, we have several productions that left us on the edge of our seats, such as Stranger Things, Succession, Euphoria, Squid Game (or The Squid Game), Ozarks Y Better Call Saul; but there were also some that made us laugh like Ted Lasso, Barry Y Only Murders in the Building. And for them to prepare for the 74th ceremony to be held on September 22 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeless, as well as setting up the pool, Here is the full list of Emmy nominees.
