Marvel Studios has revealed the last minute change they made to the Daredevil scene we saw in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Attention!
The visual effects supervisor Spider-Man: No Way Home, Kelly Portrecently had a conversation with Crew Runner. He talked about the CGI work they did with the big movie of the Spidermanone of the biggest hits of Marvel Studios in recent years. Furthermore, he also revealed a very significant change in the scene of Daredevil. Do you remember her? Well, it was different. And, in fact, the change came at the very last minute, an extreme change on the horn.
When he talked about Daredevil’s appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Kelly Port revealed that the scene was not exactly like that. Lawyer Matt MurdockCharlie Coxwho exercised his professional work to help Peter Parker (Tom Holland), caught a brick on the fly. However, the brick wasn’t exactly a brick in the original version, before the last minute change.
“Originally, it wasn’t a brick,” said the digital effects supervisor for Spider-Man: No Way Home. “Actually, it was a snowball. This was one of those last-minute creative decisions that came along as the project progressed.”
This change affected Spider-Man’s digital effects.
After reporters asked about Tom Holland’s fingers and whether they had to be digitally altered after Daredevil’s brick was removed, Kelly Port revealed that it was precisely the change she had previously mentioned. “Actually, he was holding a snowball,” she said of the scene. Spider-Man: No Way Home. “You can clearly see that she is grasping a spherical shape.”
“You can tell, slightly, you can tell by the shape of his palm that he’s holding onto something more spherical,” he went on to explain about Daredevil’s appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. «It is one of those things that the public does not necessarily understand; hopefully, it doesn’t directly.” So Matt Murdock was not catching a brick on the fly, but a snowball.
