Sony withdraws from its release calendar El Muerto, the Spider-Man spin-off starring Bad Bunny

Originally scheduled for January 12, 2024, Sony Pictures has finally decided to leave El Muerto, the new Spider-Man spin-off movie starring Bad Bunny, out of its release calendar. Has the project been permanently cancelled?

Everyone was surprised when sony announced El Muerto, the new spin-off film of spider-man focused on a villain who literally only appeared in two issues in Marvel comics.

At first, Juan Carlos tries to stay away from the wrestling world, but the death of his father will make him become El Muertowhere he will end up fighting Spider-Man.

Seeing the path that the films of the Universe of Marvel characters from Sony Pictures are taking, it was to be expected that Spider-Man would not make an appearance in El Muerto, so the film starring Bad Bunny was going to generate even less interest among the fans if the wall-crawler is not involved.
