Black Adam It will hit theaters this month and that is why the film’s promotion campaign remains in full swing. Recently Pierce Brosnan participated in an acquaintance late night show and while talking about the history of the antihero, he revealed that wanted to be the greatest hero of DC Comics.
In Black Adam, Pierce will put on the skin of the dr.fate/Kent Nelson, one of the founding members of the Justice Society of America and the wizarding specialist in DC. This mighty hero works alongside hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell). These heroes are called into action when the mighty Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) awakens from his slumber, which spells serious trouble for everyone, including Earth.
Before donning Dr. Fate’s helmet, Pierce came close to donning Dr. Fate’s cape and mask. Batman and it is that the actor of Remington Steele auditioned for the casting of the first Batman film, directed by Tim Burton.
In 1989 Burton brought DC’s ultimate hero to the big screen with Michael Keaton as Bruce. Wayne/Batman and Jack Nicholson as the joker. The success was so great that it left Warner wanting more. Three years later Tim and Keaton would return to their posts for Batman Returns. The studio was planning a third film for the Caped Crusader, but Burton decided to step aside, so Warner entrusted Joel Schumacher to keep Batman in the movies.
While I was in The Tonight Show with Jimmy FallonPierce recalled his audition for Batman and how it was his first interaction with Tim Burton. “I remember saying something stupid to Tim Burton, I said ‘you know I don’t understand any man who wears his underwear outside his pants’. But there you go, the best man (Keaton) got the job and you know Doctor Fate and I were meant to find ourselves on the same page I think”, detailed Brosnan.
It would have been more than interesting to see Pierce Brosnan’s version of Batman. What is striking is that with the long-awaited The Flash, Michael Keaton will once again wear the bat suit and as Black Adam premieres at the end of the month, it means that both will share the same universe, will they see each other at some point?
