Naomi Watts stars in a new thriller where a mother tries to save her son from a murderer

desperate (The Desperate Hour) is the film that recently made presence in Prime Video, landing October 26 on the Amazon-managed streaming service. It is starred by naomi watts in the role of Amy Carr, a woman who, one ordinary day, while trying to escape her daily routine, goes for a run around her house, but what she does not expect is that her life will change in a second.

“Shortly after being widowed, Amy receives the worst call possible: her teenage son is on the run from a killer who has attacked the school. Facing despair, Amy hits the forest trails to save the only family she has left”; she details the platform.

desperate continues to tell that, in the middle of the forest that surrounds her home, miles from the city and overwhelmed by panic, Amy Carr receives a call informing her that the authorities are looking for the person responsible for a shooting that has taken place at the school of her teenage son, Noah. The woman refuses to succumb to despair, so with the only help of her cell phone, she will seek all possible resources to try to save the life of her son.

Her strategy leads her to establish direct contact with the killer and provide valuable information to the police before they break into the school.
