The popular saga of films known by the name of believe will have the participation for the first timeof a Mexican boxer. Saul Alvarez was included in the cast of the film Creed III and, although details about his role and appearance have not been released, Michael B. Jordan, director and protagonist of the story, celebrated the participation and cataloged it as one of the most relevant for the sport it stages.

During a press conference, Jordan was questioned about the appearance of the Cinnamon in the feature film. In his response, he cataloged the Mexican as a representative of one of the countries that has made the greatest contributions to boxing, but that he has not been represented throughout history that began with the appearance of Sylvester Stallone as an interpreter of Rocky Balboa.

“We just look back, you know, it’s the history of boxing and the Mexican culture is a pillar within the sport of boxing. We felt like there really wasn’t a lot of representation throughout the movies in that way. It just didn’t seem like the reality I lived in. So I wanted to incorporate Mexican culture in this film”declared, according to slash-film.

So far, no further details have been released about the relevance or role that Eddy Reynoso’s pupil will have in the film. However, in the preview released on October 18, 2022 through the verified account of DAZN Boxingthe presence of the Cinnamon in a fleeting moment.

In the second number 10 of the video you can see the Mexican boxer posing on a red carpet together with his wife Fernanda Gómez. Jordan also appears in the picture, who will give life to Adonis Johnson Creed; as well as Tessa Thompson, who will be Bianca Creed the wife of the protagonist.

According to the previews, the story of the third film will deal with the Creed’s reunion with an old friend known as Damien Anderson, after he left prison. Despite the relationship, the men become enemies when the new character is willing to fight and dethrone the protagonist’s career by demonstrating his sporting superiority in boxing.
