Macarena Miguel participates in “A family portrait” as a determined girl “who knows what she wants”

Macarena Miguel She is 27 years old and has maintained her career as an actress since she was three years old, when she began to participate in soap operas. She is now part of the cast of the movie “A family portrait”, a film in which she plays Sofía Avendaño, one of the three daughters of Mariano (Humberto Zurita), a businessman at the crossroads of finishing his career or reuniting with his family.

However, Adrián Zurita always stated that he wanted the film to be released in theaters. “Then the decision was made to pause and wait to see how the situation developed, but yes, there definitely came a point where you lose hope. Fortunately today we are returning to the cinema, Mexican cinema is resurgent, so I think it was very important and a very wise decision to wait.”

Macarena Miguel accompanied Regina Contreras, who plays her sister Paula, in her first film role and actually in her first job as an actress. “The truth is that I took the baton of teaching it, guiding it, because there are many things that if you have not done, you have not done movies, television or a job as an actor, it is difficult to grasp so quickly, the truth is that I loved taking it from hand, I loved seeing her grow, I loved seeing her work on screen.”

And refering to Ximena Romo, who plays her sister Carolina and whom we will see in the series “María Félix” as “La Doña” as a young woman, said that it is always a pleasure to see her work. For Macarena, her favorite scene is when her character does a commercial and her father argues with the director.

“That was one of the most challenging scenes for me because of the connection with my dad and that the public really felt what Sofía feels. In that scene Humberto and I had a lot of table work and we wanted you to really feel this connection between father and daughter, that for a moment you sympathize with the father and for another you also understand the part of the daughter”.

Macarena has two projects on the horizon: a telenovela with Televisa and a series for which she cannot give details yet but which, she says, will be “a very big challenge for me, she is a character that has nothing to do with what I have done And I’m very excited.”
