Keanu Reeves and “John Wick” want to dominate the action genre: series, spin-off and the new movie expand the franchise

Although there are few details about the plot of the new production, it is known that De Armas will play a dancer with the Unity Phelan Ballet, located in New York City. This character appeared in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, although played by another actress. Len Wisemann (Live Free or Die Hard) directs from a script by Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead). When this project was announced, it was presented as a story centered on “a young woman raised as an assassin who must hunt down the other assassins who killed her family.” The Cuban was not linked to the film until last year, after her fleeting appearance in the recent installment of Daniel Craig’s Bond, No Time To Die.

Earlier this year, the actress Blonde revealed that the writer and director of Promising Young Woman, Emerald Fennell had been hired to touch up the script. “It was really important for me to hire a writer, because up to that point when I got involved in the project, there was just the director, Len Wiseman and one other person,” de Armas said of her new role, adding that “I I was like, ‘That’s not going to work.’ So they interviewed five or six female writers. Emerald Fennell was eventually hired, something we were all very proud of.”
