HBO Max Announces Cancellation of Another DC Comics Movie

Another DC Comics movie produced by HBO Max has been cancelled. One more that follows in the footsteps of the extinct and forgotten Batgirl.

HBO Max has announced the cancellation of another DC Comics movie. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter in its in-depth article about the future of DC Extended UniverseWarner Bros. Discovery has decided to shelve the development of Zatanna. The project of Zatanna it has been one of the few that have been cancelled, after very important confirmations that have taken place this morning. It joins the cancellation of Batgirl and the Constantine tv movie.

Surprisingly, these DC Comics projects have been put up for auction by HBO Max. Therefore, they can be purchased by other streaming platforms such as Netflix. However, no dates or production details have been disclosed. It remains to be seen if any company, like Amazon Prime Videobet on them. Zatanna it is a difficult project. Magic has always been a double-edged sword for action, fantasy and science fiction movies.. Also, it’s a shame Warner got rid of her so soon.
