Gremlins’ Stripe Coming to Multiversus Alongside a Controversial Halloween Event

MultiVersus It’s still going strong and the game is constantly being updated with new content at a surprisingly high rate. Not in vain, It’s barely been two weeks since Rick (rick and morty) arrived as a playable character in this free fighting title and we already have another new fighter ready to fight.

Stripe joins the squad

Being more concrete, the crossover from Warner Bros. has just received a new free update that allows us to unlock Stripe, the iconic Gremlin who played the main villain in the first film of the saga created and directed by Joe Dante. Is about a dangerous chainsaw killer with which we can put into practice all kinds of dirty tricks to finish off our rivals. We can get the change of 2,000 coins, a character ticket or 700 Gleamium (the Premium currency of the game).

Among other news, also highlights the inclusion of a new scenario that is in the experimental phase, so it can only be used in custom games at the moment. In addition, a system has been added to prevent players from performing infinite combos and balance adjustments have been made to numerous characters.

A controversial Halloween event

Last but not least, the title celebrates its first temporary event. As you can guess from the dates we are in, this celebration is inspired by Halloween and will take place from October 15 to November 15.

Thanks to, we can unlock an emoticon, a profile icon and two special skins that will only be available during the celebration of the event, as well as five suits exclusively for payment. To get them, we will have to play games to receive candy, a new type of resource with which we can buy Halloween rewards.

Nevertheless, there are some aspects that are generating some controversysince the number of games that we have to play in the 30 days that the event lasts to get all the prizes can be exaggerated.

Something to keep in mind is that if we win a game we will receive more candies than if we lose, and if we use the Gizmo or Stripe payment skins we will also receive an extra after each fight. As calculated from VGC, to get all the rewards without investing money in these skins we would have to play a minimum of 783 games during the event and win them allso the actual figure is probably well over 800.

As if that wasn’t enough, a player using the Gizmo and Stripe skins would have to play a minimum of 392 games and win them alla figure that can be reduced to 261 games if you play as a team with another player and both use the Gremlins with their corresponding costumes, since in this way the amount of candies that we will receive will increase.

for now, we do not know if Warner Bros. will modify the figures to make obtaining Halloween prizes more affordable, but if you need help to accumulate victories we remind you that in Vandal we have one complete wow.
