Xanadu (1980)
Kira is one of the daughters of Zeus and muse of the arts. Fulfilling that job, she visits the painter Sonny Malone, whom she inspires with a kiss. However, the beautiful goddess and the mortal fall in love, which will be a problem in the cosmic order. At the same time, an old musician dreams of opening an old-style nightclub, a project that Kira and Sonny will get involved in.
The ’40s meets the ’80s in “Xanadu,” a look into the future as well as a romantic throwback to how things were during Hollywood’s golden age. Directed by Robert Greenwald is another of Newton-John’s great cinematographic successes.

It’s My Party (1996)
Directed by Randal Kleiser, the film follows Nick Stark who has just heard the news that he has lost his battle against the AIDS virus and decides to face his next death with dignity. Instead of collapsing, he decides to end his life as he lived it, full of joy and vitality, surrounded by his family and friends, who will accompany him in a last two-day party.
A Few Best Men (2011)
David, who is about to marry Mia, travels with his friends to his girlfriend’s town where the ceremony will take place. Mia’s father is a rich Australian senator, but her mother is a somewhat crazy woman, addicted to cocaine and alcohol. David’s friends are Luke, who will be his godfather and who has just lost his girlfriend; Tom, a total dickhead, and Graham, a self-conscious hypochondriac. At first, Mia’s parents welcome David and his friends with open arms, but at the bachelor party things get out of hand and the wedding doesn’t turn out to be what it should.
