Released in 2021, the movie Godzilla vs. Kong featured these two legendary movie monsters fighting an epic battle that shook the foundations of humanity.
Its plot showed us the journey of Kong and his protectors to find their true home. With them is Jia, a young orphan with whom the giant has a unique and powerful bond. But along the way they unexpectedly cross paths with an enraged Godzilla who is causing destruction in his path through the world..
Again under the direction of Adam Wingard (Death Note, Blair Witch, You’re Next), Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will delve into the story behind these titans and their origins, as well as the mysteries behind Skull Island.
According to its official synopsis, the film will show a story in which “will face the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal unknown threat hidden within our world”.
