Sylvester Stallone will eventually become Super Hero and it’s thanks to his new movie Samaritan. The exclusive production of Prime Video will arrive in August and to prepare the public, it released the first official posters, which anticipate what Sly will look like as the hero of the story.
This film tells us that a boy of 13 years called Sam Clearysuspects that his quiet and lonely neighbor, the Mr. Smith (Stallone), is actually a great Super Hero called Samaritan. It happens that more than two decades ago the powerful paladin of justice had a fierce battle against his sworn enemy called nemesis and died. Despite what everyone believes, Sam is the only one who has hope that the ultimate hero is still aliveso your mission will be convince mr smith to return to fighting crime.
This is not the first time that Stallone has been related to the world of superheroes, in the 90s became the Judge Dredd and from the hand of James Gunn became the rage, Stakar Ogord for Guardians of the Galaxy (returning for Volume 3) and in King Sharkfor the acclaimed Suicide Squad. Now the actor who brought Rocky to life will return to the genre, but this time 100% turned into a superhero.
The first posters of the film show Sly and his alter ego, the mighty Samaritanwith his costume and mask. Both graphs reflect the theme of the hero’s disappearance more than 20 years ago. The current decadent situation and the hopeful request of his young neighbor will make this man reconsider so that he leaves his anonymity.
Samaritan has julius avery (Overlord) directed and scripted by Bragi F. Schut (Escape Room). In addition to Stallone, the film has to its credit the performances of Javon “Wanna” Walton (euphoria), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Moses Arias (Ender’s Game) and Dasha Polanco (Orange is the New Black)
The movie will be available on Amazon Prime Video the next 26 of August on the Amazon Prime Video signal.
