Although there are a couple of weeks until Halloween arrives, this week the premieres on streaming platforms are varied and do not focus on terror or fear for their productions.

Big Shot: Elite Trainer
Season 2 of this sports series premieres on October 12. The show centers on basketball coach Marvyn Korn, whose short temper got him kicked off his NCAA team. He gets a chance to redeem himself as the coach of the high school girls’ team at Westbrook’s private institution. But first, he must learn to connect with his players, as well as his own teenage daughter.

Although this is not an original premiere of the platform, without a doubt in recent years it has become one of the favorite films of fans of romantic comedies. The 2006 film, starring Cameron Diaz Y Kate Winslet arrives on the entertainment service on October 15.

The series starring Hugh Laurie (House) returns with a second batch of episodes. This series premieres its new season on October 10.
The series takes place 40 years in the future when traveling is already a booming business. While crewing a luxury spaceship, Captain Ryan Clark (Laurie) is overwhelmed when they veer off course, turning an eight-week cruise into an eight-year one. Picking up five months after failing to divert the ship, the new season follows the crew as they struggle to lead, calm, control and if necessary, hide from the increasingly unruly passengers. On Earth, they are praised as heroes and in space, everyone can hear them scream.
An Argentine Crime
It is a thriller based on a criminal event that took place in 1980 in the middle of the military dictatorship. The case that is reported is the intriguing disappearance of a wealthy businessman in the city of Rosario in the province of Santa Fe. The subject in question was Jorge Salomón Sauan, a businessman who had a great fortune and who was assassinated by Juan Carlos Masciaro, who was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The film that arrives at the service on October 14 is based on the homonymous novel by Rosario journalist Reynaldo Sietecase, published in 2002 by Editorial Alfaguara. An Argentine Crime stars Nicolás Francella, Matías Mayer, Malena Sánchez, Luis Luque, Alberto Ajaka, Rita Cortese, César Bordón, and the special participation of Darío Grandinetti.
City on a Hill

Siobhan Quays encounters the city’s corruption firsthand, as she grapples with the traumatic events of her senior year. As Jenny Rohr can attest, some experiences haunt you past your breaking point. The series stars Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, Lauren E. Banks and hits the platform on October 13.
This Canadian comedy-drama is created by Sheri Elwood, will return for a second season (opens October 14) in which Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle) joins the cast of the series. Picking up where the first season left off, fate will manifest very differently for the entire family, with characters fighting their fate tooth and nail as Lidia goes to extreme lengths to save the business from financial ruin.
The guest actors in the second season will be Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie’s), Shelley Thompson (Trailer Park Boys), among others. The eight-episode production recently wrapped filming in Nova Scotia and stars Jennifer Finnigan as Lydia Bennet, daughter of Ken and Bea Finley-Cullen, played by Peter MacNeill and Corrine Koslo.
Rosalina is a fresh and comedic twist on William Shakespeare’s classic love story. Romeo and Juliet, told from the point of view of Rosalina, Juliet’s cousin, who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Her story tells that, heartbroken when Romeo meets Juliet and starts going after her, Rosalina plans to thwart the famous romance in order to get the boy back from her. Starring Kaitlyn Dever.
Karen Maine directed the film while Scott Neustadter wrote the screenplay. He previously wrote scripts for the adaptations Paper Towns, The Fault in Our Stars Y Daisy Jones & The Six. Maine previously wrote and directed the dramatic comedy Yes God Yes. Dever is both the lead and executive producer of the series which hits the service on October 14.
This series follows Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young prodigy chef at one of the best restaurants in the world, who has to return to his hometown when his brother commits suicide and leaves him a family greasy sandwich restaurant in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. He obediently returns to manage it. He is distraught and clashes with his sister (Abby Elliott) and the restaurant staff, including his brother’s abrasive best friend, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
The place Rotten Tomatoes has given 100% approval to this show whose second season has already been approved. The first can be seen through the service from October 12.
