Little by little, new details of the next film of Ryan Johnson, Glass Onionswhich will be a direct sequel to Knives Out, the film that in 2019 achieved 311 million dollars at the box office, costing just 40 million to produce. Coming to Netflix next December 23th.
The entertainment service released the new trailer in which the detective is seen Benoît Blanc (Craig) back in the title role of this murder-mystery-filled sequel, but this time he’ll be questioning an entirely new cast: Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick Y Ethan Hawke.
Glass Onions develops in Greece, on the private island of the tech billionaire Miles Broninterpreted by Nortonwhere another mystery game will take place and where all the characters are suspected of the crime.

“Something I love about Christie Agatha is that it never stays afloat creatively. I think there’s a misperception that his books use the same formula over and over, but fans know the opposite is true. It wasn’t just about scenarios or methods of murder, she was constantly expanding the genre conceptually.” Johnson.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be world premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in September and then will debut in Netflix December 23.
