A sad news shook the Hollywood industry. The actor Leslie Jordanowner of an extensive career in film, television and theater, died Monday morning in a traffic accident. Jordan, 67, was driving his car when he crashed into a building and was killed instantly. Although the investigations into the cause of his death are still being investigated, it is assumed that the actor may have suffered some type of health episode that led him to lose control of the steering wheel.

During the last years, Jordan became a very familiar face for viewers who love sitcoms, mainly due to his role in the series Will & Gracewhere he composed a charismatic character named Beverly Leslie. For that role, the actor achieved significant popularity and went on to win an Emmy Award in the Guest Star category.

The actor Sean Hayeswith whom Jordan shared numerous scenes in Will & Grace, wrote on his social networks: “Leslie Jordan was one of the funniest people I had the pleasure of working with. All who knew him adored him. There will never be anyone like him. A unique talent, with a huge heart”. For his part, Eric McCormack, also the protagonist of the same sitcom, expressed his pain at that loss: “The funniest and most flirtatious southern gentleman I ever met. The fun and laughter he provided in each episode of Will & Grace it was palpable.”

Currently, he was part of the cast of the comedy Call Me Kat, which is in its third season. Faced with this tragic news, the production of that series paused its recordings and, through a statement, the studio said: “Leslie was much more than a talented comedian, winner of an Emmy award, with whom we laughed so much throughout of these years. He was the kindest person you could imagine, who was enough to walk into a room to flood it with joy and smiles. As we mourn this sad news, we continue to extend our deepest condolences to Leslie’s family, friends and his fans whom he loved so much.”

Among the many television titles in which Jordan participated, they stand out Ally McBeal, Ugly Betty, Lois & Clark, The New Adventures of Superman, Boston Public, Boston Legal Y Star Trek: Voyager.
