The trailer of Avatar: The Way of Water It was already seen by several people and the reactions indicate that james cameron has achieved a new visual spectacle worthy of being seen in the movie theater. Avatar- 83% was released in 2009 and became the highest grossing film of all time, until in 2019 Avengers: Endgame- 95% took the spot away from him, however, it wasn’t long before Cameron’s film regained the spot, having been re-released in 2021.
The story of Avatar takes us to the moon Pandora, where an intelligent alien species known as Na’vi lives, blue and very tall anthropomorphic beings who live in communion with nature. Since its launch, its plot has been compared to that of Pocahontas – 56%and it really has a lot of similarities, but basically it’s a white savior story, well known in Hollywood.
On the other hand, Avatar It does not stand out for the originality of its plot, but for the visual effects that dazzled the public since its premiere, and that have aged very well. Thanks to motion-capture technology, the Na’vi were created with great realism, and the trailer for the long-awaited sequel indicates that it will not disappoint in that regard. Just watched the 3D trailer for #AvatarTheWayOfWater. The CGI and 3D element looked great. Not much of a plot was revealed, but it seems to be a visual achievement (of course).

Over 12 years later, I finally saw the trailer for #AvatarTheWayOfWater. And… yes, it’s pretty good! Not many story details are revealed, but the visual effects team can start writing their Oscar acceptance speeches now.
