Tesla launches for sale the curious “Cyberwhistle” valued at 1,000 DOGE

Elon Musk invited his Twitter followers to “blow the whistle” with the launch of a limited-edition Tesla Cyberwhistle, available only to customers willing to shell out more than 1,000 Dogecoin (DOGE) for the toy.

The Cyberwhistle is made from “medical-grade stainless steel” and is based on the same angular design as the Tesla Cybertruck, but arguably improves on the original by eliminating its biggest single point of failure: the Windows.

Unlike the Cybertruck, which was delayed twice, the Tesla Cyberwhistle was immediately available for anyone with the cryptocurrency will pay it

At a price of 1,000 Dogecoin, and with DOGE currently trading at $0.060225, the Tesla Cyberwhistle retails for over $60.

It’s a price that Tesla fans seem to be more than okay with, as the whistles are already listed as “out of stock” on the company page.

Dogecoin holders “hear the whistle”

The release of Cyberwhistle comes as a major legal case begins to loom large in Musk’s life. Earlier this year, the billionaire tycoon successfully offered 44 billion dollars via Twitter, but after backed out of the deal citing numerous problems and disclosure failures.

Musk alleges that Twitter misled him about the number of spambots and fake accounts on the platform.

It is a point with seems to agree the former head of security from Twitter, Peiter Zatko. According to Zatko, Twitter just doesn’t know how many spambots there are on the platformbut what they do know seems to indicate that the problem is much bigger than they are willing to admit publicly.

In late August, Musk’s lawyers called Zatko as a witness at his upcoming court hearing.

With the appearance of Zatko, the head of security turned Twitter whistleblower, Musk’s chances of win the legal battle They seem to have improved remarkably.

Just two weeks after the subpoena, and three weeks after Zatko went public with the accusations, Tesla launched Cyberwhistle.

When it comes to metaphors, it’s about as subtle as a steel ball thrown through a pane of bullet-proof glass.

a rushed launch

With Tesla notoriously slow to launch new product lines, the question now may be how the company managed to design, produce, manufacture, and launch a whistle with its own display case in just three weeks.
