Some time ago, Meta, a company formerly known as Facebook, gave a preview of its Metaverse, showing how this project would give us a space where we can lead a virtual life. Project that has been quite criticized, since after Mark Zuckerberg published a photograph of him visiting the Eiffel Tower in his Metaverse game called Horizon Worlds, many claimed that the virtual image looked very different from what was initially presented.

Metaverse that apparently even Meta’s own employees are using it as it’s supposed to be, due to constant bugs in the app. According to a report delivered by the media TheVerge (via GAMINGbible), Metaverse VP for Meta Vishal Shah addressed these issues with Horizon Worlds, stating that “Currently, feedback from our creators, users, game testers, and many of us on the team, is that the added weight of the papercuts, stability issues, and bugs make it too difficult for our community to experience the magic of Horizon.”

In addition, he stated that even the game’s developers themselves apparently are not using it much, which is the main cause of these errors.

“A lot of us don’t spend that much time on Horizon and our internal test boards show that pretty clearly,” Shah said.

And to clarify this, the executive would have delivered a rather mixed response, indicating that: “Why don’t we love the product that we have built so much that we use it all the time? The simple truth is that, if we don’t love it, how can we expect our users to love it?”

Problem that according to one of Shah’s memos published by The Verge, would be the responsibility of Meta managers, for making their teams use the game once a week, at least. “Everyone in this [organización] they should make it their mission to fall in love with Horizon Worlds. You can’t do that without using it,” she allegedly said. “Get in there. [Organiza] moments to do it with your colleagues or friends, both in the internal builds and in the public build so you can interact with our community, “he assured that he is asked.
