Twitter brought another eccentric billionaire into the fold in its lawsuit against Elon Musk, citing Oracle co-founder, Larry Ellison, the largest outside financial backer of Musk’s beleaguered deal to take over the social media company, according to court filings seen byBloomberg.

Ellison was cited as part of Twitter’s lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court over Musk’s reversal of his purchase of the social media company.

A longtime Musk ally and a member of Tesla’s board of directors from 2018 to this year, EllisonI promised$1 billion to Tesla CEO’s $44 billion Twitter offering in May through his Lawrence J. Ellison Revocable Trust.

Twitter subpoenaed an official from that trust last week as part of the lawsuit, according to Bloomberg.
