You never know what to expect with Elon Musk. The subject practically in every opportunity he has had has come to generate some disruption of any time in various areas of the technology industry.
Perhaps the executive is not going through the best of his moments, particularly now that the scandal with Twitter and the fiasco of the purchase of the company that will take him to court.
But in parallel it seems that all the other Elon Musk projects are enjoying a great moment of success. There is the example of SpaceX and apparently there are also great advances with Neuralink.
Yes, we are talking about that project that seeks to generate automatons with high-tech artificial intelligence in its system.
Indeed, it is that same firm that seeks to create digital versions of people’s memories and recollections.
Something that seems to be taken from some bad episode of Black Mirror. But it also seems that fiction has already reached us.
Elon Musk and his consciousness in the cloud
In order not to lose the custom of what is already usual, everything happened through his official Twitter account. There, according to colleagues from Benzinga Cryptothe CEO of Tesla confessed to having a conversation with a virtual version of himself after “uploading” his brain to the cloud.
This all came to light casually as a response to a twisted question Dogecoin creator Shibetoshi Nakamoto asked on his own official Twitter account:
For a change Musk did not give precise details and everything was a simple response to a statement published by the Nakamoto account.
The publication, according to the Twitter account itself, was made on July 18, 2022, but it was not until a week later that it made noise in different specialized media and among the technological community.
The truth is that due to the nature of the publication and Musk’s background history, everything indicates that he was actually referring to his work with neurolink.
This company is working on the development of a brain-computer interface, so that technological platforms can interact with the brain directly with the act of just thinking.
But, in theory they are not advanced enough to upload a complete consciousness to the cloud. On top of that they do not even have the mandatory approvals of the corresponding authorities.
So the response on Twitter could be considered something of a joke. Or perhaps it will soon be confirmed that the opposite is true.
We would like to thank the writer of this write-up for this amazing content
Has Elon Musk already “uploaded” his brain to the Neuralink cloud, had a talk with himself and nobody noticed?
