To see on Disney+ from January 13 to 19: Ryan Gosling in an RPG, a crazy animated series, the sequel to the new Star Wars series…

This week, a new animated series is joining Disney+ and should appeal to lovers of dark and twisted humor. Moreover, the platform makes you travel to the Amazon, without forgetting to take a tour of the Star Wars galaxy with The Bad Batch.

Little Demon

Who says animated series does not necessarily say children’s program. Fans of Rick and Morty know this only too well and will be delighted to find Dan Harmon at the controls of this novelty.

Little Demon follows Chrissy, an almost normal teenager. Almost, because out of her schoolgirl life, the young girl is neither more nor less than… the Antichrist. If she can count on the most badass of mothers, her father (Satan!) seems determined to take her soul.

The Atomic Cartoons studio-inspired designs feature the iconic voice of Danny De Vito as Satan and his real-life daughter, Lucy De Vito, as Chrissy. Laura, the mother, is played by Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation, The White Lotus).

The Amazon Rainforest: our Earth

Change of mood with National Geographic’s new documentary, The Amazon Forest: Our Earth. Awarded at the Sundance Film Festival and acclaimed by the press, this journey to the heart of the planet’s lungs will be available on January 13 on the platform.

An immersive dive into the stubborn struggle of the Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau against the (illegal) overexploitation of the Amazon rainforest, this film showcases impressive landscapes and allows viewers to rub shoulders with both the Uru-Eu-Wau- Wau, those who burn and clear their land and the network of desperate farmers who want to colonize this protected forest.

Moreover, Disney + has not finished dazzling you with the quality of its documentaries this week, since Mars: 24 hours on the red planet and Meeting with Pluto also join its catalog.

underwater

After Hell, the Amazon and space, why not dive into the abyssal depths alongside Kristen Stewart? This is the program offered by Underwater!

In the Mariana Trench, the deepest place in the earth’s crust, Kepler 822 station is almost disintegrated by an earthquake. Trapped more than 10,000 meters deep, the survivors will try everything to get to the surface. But strange and mysterious creatures may well be among them…

These films and series are to be discovered this week on Disney+.
