Thor Love and Thunder: this detail that Chris Hemsworth’s wife hates

Addressing USA Todaythe actor opened up about how he bulked up for Marvel Studios’ latest film, saying it was the last time he would appear so muscular.

My wife told me: “Yuck, it’s too much”. A lot of my male friends say, “Yeah!”, but a lot of my female friends and family members say, “Yuck.”

Hemsworth said he didn’t plan for his muscles to get so big, but started training while confined to his home in Australia, with his wife and three children. His exercise routine included weight training, martial arts, swimming as well as consuming around 6,000 calories a day. He said:

It came from boredom, being locked up during the COVID lockdown was like being in jail. It was train, eat, train, eat. There was nothing else to do.

The director of Thor: Love and ThunderTaika Waititi, also commented on the Australian actor’s impressive transformation. He said:

It was crazy to see how big Chris got for this movie. He was already huge, but when I saw his arms, they were twice as big as normal, as wide as my head!

The director also claimed that Hemsworth’s muscles are natural, which the actor admitted to being difficult to maintain during long filming days. can last more than 12 hours. Hewmsworth even reportedly said he didn’t necessarily like his current muscles, and would opt for a suit next time.
