Is this the next adventure of Robert Pattinson in the Dark Knight outfit? No way ! The actor will don the outfit for The Batman 2, but it’s part of a separate timeline. Thus, the way seems all mapped out for us to discover a brand new actor in the role of Bruce Wayne. DC hasn’t revealed any casting yet, but one actor is showing a lot of cheekiness when it comes to expressing interest.

This actor is Jensen Ackleswho many know from his role as Dean Winchester for the series supernatural or for having embodied Soldier Boy In The Boys. Asked during the Jus in Bello convention in Rome, the actor very clearly said his desire to play Batman, and took the opportunity to very kindly tackle Pedro Pascalwhich the whole world has been talking about a lot these last months and which gives the feeling of being everywhere:

However, Jensen Ackles made it clear that his speech was in no way a form of teasingbecause no discussions are taking place due to writers’ strike which is currently shaking Hollywood and which has put a large part of the production on hold:
There is a strike in the entertainment industry, and until this is resolved, no conversation will take place. (…) It seems like a lot of work, you know. You have to put on the Batman costume and be a superhero. I would love it. Sign me now!
