Located in the Canadian province of Alberta, on the outskirts of the Canadian Rockies, the property is valued at about 25.5 million Canadian dollars (about 18.9 million euros).
Covering some 1,200 acres, it includes a stately main residence, several guest rooms, an indoor riding arena, an 28-acre lake with a dock, and the original setting for the film “Unforgiven,” directed by and starring Clint Eastwood.
“The film was shot in the area near the ranch. Clint Eastwood stayed at the ranch during filming and his co-stars Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman, and Richard Harris they also spent a lot of time here. The current owners purchased the fictional “Big Whiskey” town featured in the film and rebuilt the ranch. The property is sensational and located in the heart of Canada,” says Chris Burns, real estate agent at Engel & Völkers Vancouver, who is responsible for marketing the property.
