The Iron Claw: here is the impressive transformation of Zac Efron for his next film

Earlier today we revealed that Hugh Jackman’s training to play Wolverine in the upcoming Deadpool 3 had this unintended consequence. Because depending on roles they have in some movies, the actors sometimes have to undergo workouts intense, thus giving rise to transformations impressive. One of the latest is none other than Zac Efronwhere recent photos have shed light on the true physical metaphormosis of the actor for his next film, The Iron Claw.

Zachary David Alexander Efron, better known as Zac Efron, rose to prominence in the 2000s thanks to his role as Troy Bolton in the famous Disney Channel trilogy, High School Musical. We will find him later in various comedies, whether films Our Worst Neighborsor Baywatch: Baywatch (2017) alongside Dwayne Johnson. But more recently, the American actor has shown that he can also operate in other registersincluding playing notorious serial killer Ted Bundy in the biographical drama Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019).

And while the former East High star will soon star in the film The Iron Clawphotos from the shoot were shared by The Daily Mail earlier in the week, which will then eventually flood social media. We can thus see the impressive physical transformation of the actor, who gained as much mass as muscle and then became almost unrecognizable.. Check out a preview of Zac Efron’s new look just below.

A physical transformation that is not so surprising in the end, given the role he will play in the next film The Iron Claw, namely the famous wrestler Kevin Von Erich. This biopic, directed by Sean Durkin and whose release is normally scheduled for next year, therefore relates the story of the rise and fall of the Von Erichs, a family of professional wrestlers, several times world champion, and who had a significant impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day. In 2009, the family was inducted by Michael Hayes into the WWE Hall of Fame.

But the Von Erichs, their real name Adkisson, are also infamous for the successive tragedies that befell the family, then nicknamed the “Von Erich curse”. Efron then plays the last survivor of the wrestling family, Kevin Von Erich, who worked for a long time in the federation of his father, Fritz Von Erich, World Class Championship Wrestling. This therefore explains this new muscular appearance, as well as this bowl cut, similar to that of the American wrestler of the 1980s.

We then see that Efron is increasingly looking to explore new directions.. This was particularly seen this year, with the fantasy thriller Firestarter, but also to some extent with the biopic The Greatest Beer Run Everwhere we find him alongside stars Russell Crowe and Bill Murray.
