At the heart of many high-profile cases, which have seriously tarnished his reputation, Ezra Miller finally escapes prison. That doesn’t mean he has no pain though!
The Flash : Ezra Miller pleads guilty
Among the stars who made the most headlines in 2022, we can name you Will Smith and his slap at the Oscars, but we can also talk to you in detail about the problems ofEzra Miller, the interpreter of Flash in the DCEU and Credence in Fantastic Beasts. If he had already been arrested in possession of narcotics in 2011, it is around 2020 that the anxieties begin for him … and for his employers, DC Comics and Warner Bros, who already had to manage the trial case. opponent Amber Heard to Johnny Depp. In 2020, a video shows Miller strangling and throwing a woman in a Reykjavik barduring the interruption of the filming of Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets. In early 2022, police arrested the actor more than ten times in Hawaii for his misconduct (like throwing a chair at a woman). On August 7, 2022, he will once again be arrested for a burglary that occurred in May, in a residence in Vermont, in which he stole bottles of alcohol.
And it is precisely for this last case that Ezra Miller was in court this week. If at the beginning the actor of The Flash denied being responsible, he will change his mind in the face of the evidence put forward. Finally, he will plead guilty to all the charges against him. The sentence was pronounced, after an agreement with the lawyers of Ezra Miller: 500$ and the obligation of one year of probation in order to avoid the prison. In this agreement, Miller accepts no less than 41 conditions, each more restrictive than the other.. Among the most important: prohibition of the consumption of alcohol and narcotics, obligation to be screened via random checks and a commitment to continue his research for treatment in order to cure his mental disorders. Of the three charges (breaking and entering, burglary, petty larceny), only the first will be retained. Had the other two not been dropped, Miller could have faced a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.. His lawyer told the press:
Ezra Miller pleaded guilty this morning to misdemeanor unlawful trespass in the Vermont Supreme Court and agreed to terms imposed by the court. Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience throughout this process. He would like to acknowledge once again the love and support he has received from his family and friends. They continue to be an important presence in the successful recovery of his failing mental health.
The actor has previously opened up about his mental health issues. Until very recently, neither he nor Warner Bros. knew if the film The Flash could be maintained in theaters. Currently, the film is expected on June 21, 2023. This leaves the actor 6 months to hold his own. With his one-year probation, filming a new movie may be difficult for Ezra Miller, depending on the conditions imposed by the judge.
