United States.- Seth Rogen is converting amazon at a sausage festival. A new television spin-off series based on the animated film The Sausage Party of the comedian with R-rated of 2016 is in process in Amazon.
The original stars Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz Y Edward Norton return for the program, titled Sausage Party: Foodtopia. Kristen Wiig and Seth Rogen voiced a hot dog bun and a sausage, respectively, in the original film. Sausage Party.
Rogen previously voiced a sausage named Frank and a red pepper named Sergeant Pepper; Wiig voiced a hot dog bun named Brenda; Wax voiced the deformed sausage Barry; Krumholtz lent his voice to a Lavash from the Middle East named Kareem Abdul Lavash; and Norton lent his voice to the Jewish bagel Sammy Bagel Jr.
It’s unclear if they’ll reprise the same roles for the show, but it doesn’t seem likely. The co-chair of Sony, Jason Clodfelter, said in a statement that “Annapurna, Seth and Evan have approached us about completely rebooting the project as a television series.”
Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell Y Yasser Lester will also star in the voice cast of Sausage Party: Foodtopia, which is currently on its way to premiere on Prime Video in 2024.

Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, who produced and helped co-write the film, will executive produce and serve as showrunners for the series. The movie director, Conrad Vernon, is also on board as supervising director and will executive produce with RogenGoldberg, James Weaver, Alex McAtee, Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu Y Andrew Millstein.
