Sarah Jessica Parker made a rare family appearance in New York on Monday, for the inauguration of the play Plaza Suite, in which she holds one of the main roles. The actress had worn for the occasion a long pink dress covered with tulle halfway between a ballet dancer and an empress.
This Monday, Sarah Jessica Parker was on the red carpet of the Hudson Theater in New York to celebrate the inauguration of the play Plaza Suite in which she holds one of the main roles. Her husband, actor Matthew Broderick – who also stars in the play – was present, along with the couple’s three children: James, 19, and twins Marion and Tabitha, 12. A rather rare full release – since the two actors usually keep their offspring away from the spotlight – during which Sarah Jessica Parker had opted for a powdery look by Prabal Gurung. The dress, pink and long, was covered with a tulle drape embroidered with shiny patterns, for a glamorous look. To complete this look, the actress bet on silver high-heeled sandals, which echoed the sparkling embroidery of her dress. As for the hairstyle, Sarah Jessica Parker displayed a high and puffy bun, with a very 60s spirit. Matthew Broderick, he had set his sights on a dark suit, simply enhanced by a green tie with white and black patterns.
Sarah Jessica Parker praises her dress on Instagram
On Instagram, the one nicknamed SJP posted on Instagram a photo of her back, facing a fireplace, simply revealing part of her powdered dress. “Wait until you see the front. I don’t have the words now. I might have them later”, commented the actress in legend. “It’s not a bright pink, it’s almost like there’s a light film of dust on it“, commented Prabal Gurung, the creator of the famous outfit, in the pages of Vogue. “There’s something very old-school about it, as if it came from a classic photo by Avedon (a famous American fashion photographer, editor’s note). It’s glamorous, but it’s still graceful.“
