Operations that sell more than each other, which do not, however, surpass the real master stroke of this promotion: the looks of Margot Robbie at each of her official releases, all (or almost) inspired by Barbie.

From her striped 1959 version tube dress to her fuchsia suit from the 1985 edition, passing by her sequined black sheath faithful to that of the 1960 Barbie, Margot Robbie was a hit during this promotional tour. Margot Robbie: her eccentric condition to play in the Barbie movie
If Margot Robbie was delighted to participate in this project in which she was fully invested – pajama party with the actresses, pink day, etc. – she still had a request to make to the director, Greta Gerwig, to play in her film. In an interview with Kelly Clarkson, the latter confessed to having told the filmmaker that she would do what she wanted on one condition. “Please, please, please, could we have a Dreamhouse where she has a slide that goes from her bedroom to her pool? Because that’s my goal in life,” Margot Robbie would have asked him.
