Once again, the shoot is in black and white, allowing Cruz’s natural beauty to take center stage. She is also wearing a black two-piece combo accented with a black leather jacket to add some flair to the look.
Penélope Cruz always knows how to bring the heat to Instagram, and the photos from this shoot continue to prove it. It’s definitely enough to get fans excited to see her on the big screen again, as she Cruz also knows how to always turn in an amazing performance. Unfortunately, we may have to wait a bit until her next big project can be seen.
Right now, the only movie Penelope Cruz has on her list is the biopic of Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari, which has yet to announce an official release date. Cruz will play Ferrari’s wife, Laura, while Adam Driver has been cast in the titular role. The film will follow the life of Ferrari and will also star Jack O’Connell, Shailene Woodley, Sarah Gadon, Patrick Dempsey, Valentina Belle, Gabriel Leone, Lino Musella, Erik Haugen, Guiseppe Bonifati, Alex Tonti Y Leonardo Caimi.
While there’s no release date for the movie yet, it should be worth the wait. Without a doubt, the performances of Penelope Cruz and Adam Driver are going to be fantastic, but Ferrari is also the return of michael mann to the movies after blackhat 2015. Mann is always an interesting director and working with Cruz and Driver is a recipe for a great movie.
In addition to being directed by Michael Mann, Mann also co-wrote Ferrari with Troy-Kennedy Martin. Its script is an adaptation of the book by Brock Yates. LThe movie is listed as in the post-production stages, so hopefully, we’ll see it later this year.
With a prestigious film like Ferrari in Penélope Cruz’s future, it wouldn’t be surprising if she earned her fifth Oscar nomination for playing Laura Ferrari. Her last nomination was last year for the film Madres Paralelas. Although Cruz has been nominated four times to date, her only win came in 2009 for Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
While we may have to wait a while to see Penélope Cruz in Ferrari, you may be able to catch her 2022 film On the Fringe at Amazon Prime Video in the near future. The film premiered in Spain in October, but has not yet been released on streaming platforms. Hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later.
