The “Stranger Things” actress returns as the sister of Sherlock Holmes, along with Henry Cavill, in what is already a saga of mysteries.
With much of the original, not only the performances of Millie Bobby Brown Y henry cavill, Enola Holmes 2 again offers entertainment, perhaps with an uneven rhythm, but all those who in Netflix enjoyed the first one, they will surely be enthusiastic about the actress from stranger things.

Enola discovers strands or just a hair where the camera had never been before.
It’s just that everything is more or less cooked to admire Enola (and Sherlock, her brother and legal guardian) rather than to find out, for example, what happened to Sarah, when her little sister Bess arrives at Enola’s office to entrust her case.
Enola is not a character created by Arthur Conan Doyle, as Sherlock was, but the protagonist imagined by the writer Nancy Springer and who already appears in a series of six books.

The one in the Sarah case in question is taken from a strike that actually existed in a match factory in London in the late 19th century. The film moves from a cobblestone area and Victorian buildings to a very different reality when the protagonist visits where Sarah lived with Bess.
Corruption and deaths
The same will happen when, between gags and looks at Enola’s camera, a network of corruption and deaths is discovered, in which typhus had little to do with it.
Still, the movie works best when the Holmes brothers meet, or Enola remembers her mom’s teachings. There is chemistry between these characters, or rather between their interpreters, and that helps.
And if Enola also follows her mother Eudoria’s (Helena Bonham Carter) advice to “pull every loose end” in her investigations, well, chances are she’ll crack the case. “Without power, we women must rely on our ingenuity,” says a character named Mira Toy.

Enola will have enough time to learn to waltz, to fall in love and befriend her brother. And there are also good secondary characters, such as the superintendent Grail that David Thewlis composes -although somewhat past the thread-.
Harry Bradbeer has had more work as a director of series than movies. And the director of almost every episode of fleabag returns, as in the series with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, to break the fourth wall. The effect, which Bradbeer had already used in the first Enola Holmeswas more impressive in the series, but Millie Bobby Brown is so nice that everything is forgiven.
And wait until you see the end, which comes with a surprise. Elementary.
