OLIVIA Wilde has applauded Wendy Williams after the ex-talk show host slammed her as ‘the worst mother ever’.
It comes as Wendy, 58, is now dealing with issues with her own son, Kevin Jr., 21.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Don’t Worry Darling director Olivia, 38, took the opportunity to address comments the former Wendy Show host made in February 2021.
At the time, Olivia had just started dating and moved in with boyfriend Harry Styles, 28, who stars in her new film and is ten years younger than her.
In a Hot Topics rant, Wendy raged: “Olivia, you’re gonna look like the worst mother who’s ever done this, like when they see that streak, ‘You left daddy for Harry?’ »
“Harry is going to leave you- oh sorry,” she growled.
Wendy continued, “He’s young like, ‘She’s my boss. She directs my film. You know we’re going to promote it. Wendy will talk about it. As soon as the film is finished, I leave with a young girl of my age. But she’s hot, though. She is hot. But not hot enough to sacrifice your youth.
Olivia says she “doesn’t care deeply” about the TV personality’s opinions, but she was upset to see the public cheering her on.
She revealed: “It broke my heart, not because I care deeply about Wendy Williams’ opinion, but the applause from the audience made me sick.
“I was like, ‘Why are these women finding pleasure right now? Is it because it makes them feel better about their lives, their judgments and their choices without ever wondering why I could have made those choices?’ »

Olivia and Harry have now been dating for 18 months following her split from longtime boyfriend Jason Sudeikis.

It comes after Wendy reportedly ‘refused’ to let her son into her New York apartment on his birthday in July, after traveling from Florida for the occasion.
Wendy’s brother, Tommy Williams, claimed on YouTube that his “heartless” sister treated his son “like he was the paparazzi.”
The disappointed brother added, “Talk about hanging out, she is dragging everyone, namely her son. She is selfish.

Since The Wendy Williams Show was officially canceled after 13 years on the air in June, the mother-of-one has repeatedly raised concerns among fans for her health and mental well-being.
She struggles with many issues, including Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism, which she was diagnosed with 19 years ago.
The daytime legend also struggled with sobriety following her split from ex-husband Kevin Hunter, which led her to enter rehab in 2019.
In 2021, Wendy tested positive for Covid-19 and was later rushed to hospital for “psychiatric services”.
