And if since its release, the film carried by Alban Lenoir dominates the ranking of the most watched titles on the streaming platform, it has just been overtaken by a whole new movie released just a few days ago, in which we find a world famous star, namely Jennifer Lopez.

In the list of artists with multiple hats, we find in particular Jennifer Lopez, aka J.Lo. Known as a dancer, singer, model, actress, producer and businesswoman, the American of Puerto Rican origin has managed to stand out thanks to her incredible career, thus becoming one of the most influential personalities in the world according to Forbes.
And as she turns 53 this year, J.Lo continues to surprise us on our screens, especially with her latest film The Mother. Released on Netflix on May 12, 2023, this action movie is directed by Niki Caroknown among other things for having directed the films pai (2003), McFarland (2015) and more recently the live action remake of Mulan (2020).
As its title indicates, Jennifer Lopez embodies a mother in the film The Mother, which will be pursued by dangerous individuals. She will then be forced to abandon her baby, hoping to give him a chance to have a peaceful life. But ten years later, this killer will be forced to come out of the shadows to protect her daughter.
A new action film which obviously interested the subscribers of the platform, since only two days after its release, the title is in first place in the ranking of the most popular films of the moment in France. But its success does not stop at our borders, The Mother also being the most-watched movie on Netflix in over 80 countries. On Twitter, many netizens can be seen praising J.Lo’s latest project.
