Interview with a Vampire

We start this selection on the hats of wheels with a classic of the cinema. Directed by Neil Jordan, Interview with a Vampire takes place in the United States of the 90s, where Malloy (Christian Slater), a young American journalist, has an interview with a rather particular character. Played by Brad Pitt, the vampire Louis can’t help revealing his real identity to the man. Bewitched by it, Malloy later begs him to introduce him to the world of vampires. Adapted from the novel of the same name, the story immerses us in a place that is both macabre and irresistible.

fight club

The first rule of Fight Club is: It is forbidden to talk about Fight Club. Yet that is exactly what we are going to talk about. We remove the sharp teeth and the period costume to find ourselves in 1999 with a Brad Pitt still just as charismatic in the role of Tyler Durden directing the fight club, an underground fight club. We discover in parallel the boring and sad daily life of the main character (Edward Norton) who will later decide to found the Fight Club in order to fight his ill-being. Considered a rite of passage by those in their thirties, Fight Club and its director David Fincher submerge us in a universe filled with nonconformism and testosterone.
